When you look at your wedding photos, I hope you’ll fondly remember the goofy faces I made to make you smile, or the hilarious pose I struck to get that perfect angle for a shot. I prioritize communication, connection, and clear expectations throughout the process, so you’ll know exactly what to expect each step of the way, freeing you up to focus on the most important moments of your big day instead of the logistics.
The Experience
Step 1: Facetime Chat
After reading through this guide, the next step is to book a consultation with me to discuss your needs, get to know each other, and chat about your preferences and expectations.
Step 2: Make Things Official!
If we’re a good fit and you’d like to move forward, I’ll send you a proposal with a contract and invoice to make our partnership official. Once you submit it, your date is secured on my calendar and you can breathe a sigh of relief knowing you just found your dream wedding photographer!
Step 3: Get Prepped
During the weeks and months leading up to your weddings, I’ll act as a personal guide, tips and tricks, and more. If you choose to do an engagement session, we’ll schedule it for a few months before your wedding, and create a detailed shot list for the day of.
Step 4: Engagement Session
It’s time to capture this special, fleeting season with beautiful photos! Your engagement session is a great opportunity to get comfortable with me and my camera and practice taking pictures together. Plus, you can use the photos for Save the Dates, wedding websites, and more!
Step 5: Cue the Wedding Bells!
The big day has finally arrived. It’s going to be great! I’ll get to your venue early to scout out the layout and lighting. Thanks to all the planning and prep we’ve done, you can simply relax and enjoy the moment while I do my thing!
Step 6: Gallery Delivery
I’ll send you a few sneak peek photos within a few days of your wedding to get you excited, then your full gallery will be delivered 6-8 weeks later. You can download and print them yourself, or I can create an heirloom-quality photo album for you. Pro tip: Plan a date night with your new spouse to look through the photos together and relive the joy of that day all over again!
What to expect on your wedding day
The more thorough planning we do beforehand, the more you can go on ‘autopilot’ the day of your wedding and simply stay present! I’ve created a sample timeline below to help you visualize the flow of your wedding day as it pertains to photography. We’ll chat about any unique needs/wishes you may have on your consultation call, and then we’ll go over your timeline together several weeks before your wedding to make sure we’re on the same page and ready to go.

My photography style is centered around capturing genuine, authentic moments. I won't force any contrived or artificial poses that feel unnatural. No staged scenes, no forced smiles – just the real, heartfelt moments. We'll collaborate to create authentic memories together. While I'm capable of taking stunning images against a beautiful sunset, that's not my primary focus. Although I could simply observe and capture good shots as a passive presence at your wedding, that's not my approach. This won't be an afternoon filled with rigid posing. I won't be directing you to tilt a certain way or constantly adjust your dress while smiling at the camera. It means much more to me than that.

I love embracing whatever weather conditions we encounter because they often add a beautiful and distinctive touch to the photos. However, if the weather is severe enough that it would either create an unpleasant experience during a wedding or potentially damage my equipment, I'm completely open to rescheduling if it is possible for you.

Hopefully a situation like this won’t occur. And if it happens, it would only happen if circumstances were beyond my control (such as acts of God, illness, or unforeseen circumstances like death). In this unlikely event, I will make every effort to find a replacement photographer whom I trust and who shares a similar style, although I'm not legally obligated to do so. If I'm unable to attend your wedding, you will receive a refund of your money.

Once a deposit has been placed for a specific date and circumstances require you to cancel, the initial deposit is legally non-refundable.
